Day 43 - Part 1 - A Bridge Experience

Most of you who know me know that I don't like bridges, especially when they are very high off the roadway. Well, Glen Canyon Dam Bridge is one of those.

We stopped at the Visitor's Center and I asked David if we could walk across the bridge. After he got over his initial surprise, he said yes. Off we went--me, David, and Chrissy.

We walked the dam side first. You can feel the bridge flex and you can feel the traffic going by you. There is fencing up so you can't throw things down, but along the way there are openings so you can take photographs.

The dam picture features the dam and Lake Powell.

The canyon side features LARGE boats on the left side of the river. Yes, the little things are big boats!

The bridge picture is the bridge we all walked. Well, most of us walked. Chrissy got scared and David ended up carrying her! LOL

See Day 2 for more info!

See ya down the road!

Jenny :)
